Much of my subject matter is found here from sketching and painting outdoors; with additional imagery from my imaginative memory.

I paint in realistic style, but I leave plenty of room for the viewer’s imagination to allow them to put themselves into the mood and feel of the scene.

I like to tell a story in a painting. Maybe to evoke an emotion, or a memory, while entering the eye and the mind. That’s when I feel I’ve got something right.
